Another beauty from the National Library 🗺️

Interesting to note the original course of the Arrow River, coming towards town near Patagonia and turning out at the trees by today's skate park. After the recent flood Bush Creek again joins the river in this original location closer to town.

Fox’s Monument (1962) - Hidden about 1km up the old Macetown Road, near Cooper’s Terrace, is this monument to the first(?) discovery of gold in Arrowtown.

Big changes by the Arrow this morning. The river destroying the flood bund and bringing the river closer to town on its original course. 💦
