Independent Schools Cultural Alliance

These programmes are designed specifically for 12 to 15-year-old students.

Every year, the Independent Schools Cultural Alliance, ISCA, welcomes select school groups from all over the globe to the United Kingdom for one of our three programmes. At ISCA we offer four different programmes: our flagship ISCA Global three-week summer programme for international students; our brand-new one-week summer camp for students based in the UK; our Hogmanay trip to Scotland for students who have already joined us for the ISCA Global and ISCA UK Summer Camps; and customised programmes, tailored specifically to individual groups. ISCA provides students with a fabulous opportunity to travel with friends and enjoy some of the coolest and most iconic venues in London and the south of England. We also visit places of immeasurable historic importance in a well-structured and enjoyable way. Students experience the most iconic, historic and modern sites that England has to offer, including;

Iconic: Tower of London, Oxford, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament…
Historic: Hampton Court, HMS Victory, Globe Theatre, Stonehenge, Windsor Castle…
Modern: London Eye, West End Musical, Oxford Street, Science Museum…

Our ISCA Summer Camps are based at either Charterhouse School or Cranleigh School, two of the most historic boarding schools in England. Students can get involved in a huge variety of activities and sports on our campus, which provides an ideal opportunity for students to make new friends. At the end of the day there are dynamic multimedia presentations which prepare them for the next day’s trip. An enthusiastic and dynamic ISCA faculty allow the students to have the best possible experience for the time they are with us. ISCA faculty are all involved in the teaching profession and all bring different areas of expertise to the programme, enabling us to provide a varied programme of fun activities for the students and ensuring that they have the best summer ever!

From historic landmarks and cultural experiences to sport, enrichment, Future Skills and moments that push students beyond their comfort zones, every part of ISCA is designed to help young people explore Britain, meet the world and discover themselves.

For parents, it’s an opportunity for your child to experience a programme that is enriching, exciting and genuinely meaningful.

For schools, it’s an opportunity to offer students an immersive UK experience that combines culture, community, personal growth and global connection.

What was your best memory?

We recently asked our ISCA 2026 students to share their favourite moments from an unforgettable three weeks - from exploring England and discovering new places, to the ISCA Olympics, campus life and, most importantly, the people they met along the way.

The Best of ISCA 2026 - According to You 💙 ✨

We asked our ISCA 2026 students to look back on their three weeks and tell us their best moments, and you certainly gave us plenty to choose from!

From unforgettable day trips and exploring England, to discovering new sports, the campus days, the ISCA Olympics and making friends from around the world, these moments capture just some of what made this July so special.

For some, it was staying at Cranleigh and making the campus feel like home. For others, it was stepping onto a new sports pitch, exploring somewhere completely new, or simply meeting people they know they’ll never forget.

And that’s what makes ISCA so special - everyone experiences the programme differently, but everyone leaves with memories that last a lifetime 🌎

The Art of Exploration 🎨 🇬🇧

Some of the most memorable moments at ISCA happen when a member of our team sees an opportunity to inspire students to look at a place a little differently.

Throughout ISCA, our staff member Sophie encouraged students to pause, observe and capture the places around them through drawing and painting - bringing their own creativity into the heart of our cultural experiences.

From the Tower of London and the medieval streets of Canterbury, to the historic ships of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Sophie encouraged students to take time to notice the details, find inspiration in their surroundings and create something of their own.

It’s a wonderful example of what makes the ISCA experience so special: our staff don’t just take students to incredible places, they encourage them to engage, explore and see the world from a different perspective.

Because sometimes, the best way to remember a place is to create something inspired by it ✨
