The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is how you can let the U.S. Embassy know you’re in-country and receive safety alerts and updates during your international trip. If traveling in a group, one person can now enroll all travelers so that each traveler simply has to click “accept” on an email rather than enrolling individually. Sign up before your next trip at step.state.gov.
